President Richard Nixon
Does Obama actually have an "enemies" list and is he using it to distract Americans from a bleak assessment of their own economic plight? Is that what the attack on Rush Limbaugh is all about?
The "Enemy List" became a household word during the Nixon administration. In testimony before the Senate Watergate Committee in 1973, John Dean provided documents including "Opponents List and Political Enemies Project' informally called the enemies list. It was compiled by Nixon administration officials, including Dean, Charles Colson, Gordon Strachan, and Lyn Nofziger.
One of the documents given to the Committee included,
"we can use the available federal machinery to screw our political enemies. Methods described were "administration manipulation, grant availability, federal contracts, litigation, prosecution, etc."
Subsequent documents submitted to the committee indicated that it was implemented and the list included ten Democratic senators, all Black House members, over 50 news and television reporters, prominent labor leaders, entertainers, and contributors to Democratic senator Edmund Muskie.
Some of the well-known names included Daniel Shorr, Paul Newman, Mary McGrory, Bill Cosby, Dick Gregory, Steve McQueen, Joe Namath, Gregory Peck, Tony Randall and Barbara Streisand. Shorr was actually the subject of an FBI investigation because of his listing.
Now we get back to the behavior of Obama's administration, especially that of his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, a veteran of Chicago-style political strong arm methods. In August 2008, the Obama campaign was accused of sending out e-mails to Obama supporters exhorting them to harass the offices of Chicago's WGN radio by flooding the station with angry phone calls and e-mails. This was in response to an interview with Ethics and Public Policy Center's Stanley Kurtz who had uncovered records that documented the relationship between Obama and Ayers, the former Weatherman who was accused of blowing up federal buildings resulting in the death of a police officer.
Scenario January 23, 2009 shows that President Obama and his administration began the attack on Russ Limbaugh after the stock market began losing more of it value as investors bailed out in anticipation of a huge losses in response to Obama entering the White House. The question is who will be next as the stock market begins skirting the 6000 figure and continues to show that Obama is already a failed president.
Unfortunately, Obama has most of the news media in his pocket. No one can forget the thrill up his leg Olbermann of MSNBC got just listening to Obama's voice. The question now is if the Republicans ever return to power, will there be a Senate Committee that will learn how the "enemies list" was used by Obama, his chief of staff and cohorts?

I could write volumes on how these people operate: theseedsof9-11.com
And of the way the "Bush people" operated? You're saying that's better? Your mind was made up before the guy took office. In 72 years I've never voted for a Democrat in my life. Until now. Bush was leading us down the road to a fascist dictatorship, one in which we would have no financial freedom, one in which we would have no power to speak openly about anything. So start writing, Peggy. Base it with facts and cite your sources. I'm guessing you're nothing but a big, puffy blowfish.
Larry, sorry to hear that you switched to vote Democrats this year. I am a fan of neither party but most definitely align more with one than the other.
I think that you are missing the point of this game though. Neither party is for the people. Neither party is in the business of getting your freedoms and liberties back. Neither party is in the business of spending less of your tax dollars.
What I am trying to say is that on the political spectrum of 100% government and 0% government.... both parties are moving us closer and closer to the 100% totalarian government. The difference between them is, they just take turns on which liberties to take from us. Then in a few elections the political power shifts.... and the other team takes some more liberties.
Again, neither party is in the business of giving back what they took or what their opponents took. Until you realize this, I think you are in for a rude awakening.
Got something to say?
