Audio and video in time for the TEA Tax Tea Parties on July 4, 2009, Lloyd Marcus has introduced a new song that expresses the thoughts and sentiments of Americans who are outraged to see their government and Constitution slip away from them.
As of June 24, 2009, there are 1275 TEA parties scheduled in towns and cities across the United States.
The song "We the People" will be used as the anthem at the July 4, 2009 TEA parties when America's 233rd birthday will be celebrated. it is said to be a tribute to the greatness of America and the great blessings of liberty.
The new “We the People” below is more solemn, befitting the occasion of celebration of the birth of the nation. It is a tribute to the greatness of America, and the great blessings of liberty.
Marcus says of his song:
- In my new Tea Party unity song, “We The People”, I humbly try to be your voice. I thought, what if every patriot joined and sang together. What would it sound like and what would we say? Brothers and sisters, from my heart to yours, I give you, “WE THE PEOPLE”.
The lyrics begin:
- We the people
- Of the United States of America
- Stand for the rights of the individual
- Endowed by our Creator
- His great gift to you and me
- The birthright of every citizen
- From sea to shining sea…
