Cold night in Washington as Dallas comes to town

still going on about Bass, haha.

On a night like tonight, you have to be happy you aren't the Washington Redskins Examiner, having to tough it out in below 20 weather.  Meanwhile, Washington Wizards fans get the enjoyable comfort of an indoors arena at the Verizon Center as they host the Dallas Mavericks.

Just makes you want to sip some hot cocoa, doesn't it?

Washington hasn't faced Dallas since a lopsided preseason opener on October 7th, and will only play Dallas twice this season, including tonight's game.

And Doclinkin, I still think the Wizards would have been better off trading Dom, haha.

Andray Blatche and Oleksiy Pecherov played well against Dallas in preseason, with 18 and 12 respectively.  Antawn Jamison, as you recall, suffered an injury, and wouldn't end up playing the rest of the game, which is part of why the loss was so lopsided.

Jamison isn't exactly 100% now, either, but with two double-doubles since his thumb incident in the first quarter against Detroit, I'll take him.

Keep an eye on Blatche as a starter tonight.  If the Wizards are going to cash in, Blatche will need to aim for 15-20 points and play well with Antawn Jamison on Dallas' bigs.

Tonight's game will air on Comcast and NBATV nationally at 6:00 p.m. ET.
