SEATTLE -- The Washington Huskies used a 15-3 second half run to help turn a close game into a blowout, as the Huskies picked up a big 76-63 win over Stanford on Saturday afternoon.
Wroten keyed the run, converting acrobatic layups and finding open teammates in space. Darnell Gant added seven points and Terrence Ross scored five during the run that helped the Huskies build a 22 point lead.
Wroten finished the game with 21 points, five rebounds and four assists.
But the emergence of football standout Austin Seferian-Jenkins might be the biggest story of the day. Seferian-Jenkins brought a physical toughness that the Huskies badly needed, giving the Huskies a second solid big off the bench. Seferian-Jenkins finished with seven rebounds before fouling out.
Gant finished with 17 points and seven boards, while Ross had 18 points and seven rebounds.
Head Coach Lorenzo Romar picked up his 300th career win and 100th conference win at UW.
The Huskies travel to Arizona State to take on the Sun Devils on Thursday night.
