The Pac-12 conference released the 2012 football schedule today, revealing a tough first six games for the Huskies, as four of the Dawgs first six opponents are currently ranked in the top six in the AP Poll.
The Huskies will play three non-Saturday games next year, hosting Stanford on a Thursday and playing at Cal and Washington State on Fridays, with the Apple Cup taking place the day after Thanksgiving.
And the schedule figures to be pretty brutal at the beginning of the season, as the Huskies play at LSU, then play the top three Pac-12 teams to open conference play, as Stanford and USC make visits to Seattle while the Dawgs travel down to Eugene to take on the Ducks.
The tail part of the schedule also appears a little daunting, as Washington will finish with three of four games on the road. On top of that, the Huskies will play nine straight conference games as the Dawgs lone bye of the season comes right before conference play begins, forcing the Huskies to complete Pac-12 play without a bye week.
The Huskies will play six games at CenturyLink Field next year.
