The Themed Entertainment Association has awarded Disney's Toy Story Mania ride as an outstanding attraction. The attraction, located in both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, was given this honor along with Dragon's Treasure show at the City of Dreams casino in Macau, China.
According to an Orlando Sentinel report, Judges said Toy Story Mania is "consistently innovative, excellently executed and reflects next-generation guest care on every detail." Judges seem to be impressed with every aspect of the ride - the ability to accommodate guests of all sizes, on-board closed captioning and the effects from the ride through shooting game.
Toy Story Mania is an exhilarating ride, which takes guests through a series of friendly competitive shooting ranges. Balloons, plates, bulls-eyes and other targets are virtually aimed at by guests who ride around in the twirling, back-to-back cart to see who can get the highest score. Definitely an attraction not to miss!
Disney's Toy Story Mania is located in Pixar Place at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Recipients of awards were announced yesterday at the International Association of Amusement Park and Attraction's annual trade show in Las Vegas. Universal Studios' Disaster! Attraction also received an award during this year's judging.
