A lot of things have happened and changed since the deadly monorail crash, which happened July 5 at the Walt Disney World Resorts. Disney’s Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour could be one of the items affected by the current investigation.
Guests who booked the Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour between now and Oct. 12 have been receiving phone calls informing them that the tour has temporarily been canceled. Disney has not confirmed if this cancellation is due to the investigation of the monorail crash, but many are speculating that it is. Reason being the tour takes guests close to the monorail barn when they go visit some of the backstage areas on the three-hour tour.
