The Disney Wonder offers three- and four-night sailings.
The Disney Deals just keep coming and Disney Cruise Line has a KIDS FREE offer for January through April next year. Last week, I mentioned the "Kids Free" promotion on all Mediterranean cruises next summer aboard the Disney Magic. However, that same offer is now available for three- and four-night Bahamian cruises too! There are some really great travel deals out there and all you need to do is look for them to take advantage of savings that we're probably not going to see again.
Here are the details. Starting in January, kids under 18 will sail for FREE aboard the Disney Wonder when accompanying the same stateroom as two adults on most three- and four-night Bahamian cruises from January 7, 2010 to April 15, 2010 -- that's a savings of $300 to $700 per child depending upon what kind of stateroom you book. Both the three- and four-night cruises call on Nassau and Disney's own private island, Castaway Cay. Here's a list of the adventures that await you and your family at these Bahamian islands:
Nassau, Bahamas:
Your first stop and first full-day is a call at Nassau, Bahamas where there is a vast number of things to do from shopping, to shore excursions, to relaxing on the beach to soak up the rays. Whatever you're in the mood for, there's something to do at Nassau. Some of the amazing encounters that await include:
- Nassau shopping offers many unique and touristy shops as soon as you get off the ship including renowned straw market.
- History buffs can discover one of the colonial settlements or other historical landmarks nearby.
Atlantis Resort is just a short tender away and exciting adventures await including Aquaventure, Atlantis' own water park, snorkeling among more than 50,000 marine animals in a 2 ½ million gallon tank and of course, a casino for the adults to try their hands at the tables.- Nature lovers will revel in the Adastra Gardens where they can glimpse Bahamian wildlife in their natural habitats.
- Looking for dolphin encounters? You can swim the our bottlenose marine friends at Blue Lagoon Island.
- Check out Disney Cruise Line website for all the details on Nassau shore excursions. Be sure to sort by "Nassau" in the left-hand column.
Castaway Cay, Bahamas:
Your second port-of-call is Disney's own private island paradise, Castaway Cay. Here you can be as active or restful as you like. Choose among a number of activities including boating, parasailing, fishing, snorkeling, bicycling, kayaking and of course, soaking up the rays along the beaches as the turquoise waters splash over you! Check out these and more activities that await at Castaway Cay. Again be sure to check the Castaway Cay box in the left-hand column.
If you're sailing on the four-nighter, then there's a restful day at sea just waiting for you at the spa, by the pool with a great book or filled with shipboard activities for the entire family! Your kids will love the Oceaneer Clubs, meets and greets with the Disney Characters, movies and more!
As you see, Disney Cruise Line has a lot to offer and this is just a small sample of the exciting vacation that awaits you and your family on board "uncharted magic" of the Disney ships.
Isn't it time for a Disney Cruise? Check out the Disney Cruise Line website and be sure to click on the Special Offers button at the lower left-hand side of the screen.
