The House of Representatives Health and Human Services Committee has held two Hearings on Medical Marijuana after Sen. Leach (D-Philadelphia) had introduced a companion Senate Bill to the House Bill, H.B. 1393. Quinnipiac Polls show Pennsylvanian's approve of Medical Marijuana and realize the potential marijuana has in relieving myriad ailments, while those opposing (Republicans) continue using the same tired and debunked Myths to deny Medical marijuana to consenting adults in the privacy of their home. This despite the AMA approving of Marijuana use for Pain and other diseases, and requesting the Fed to re-schedule Marijuana as having medical benefits. The AMA never wanted Marijuana criminalized in 1937 and Medical evidence and Patient Testimony compels their position today.
