Gun buyback in Detroit

Pigs. When the people begin to vote for the rooftops the rest of the cops are gonna wonder why that wonderful sergeant was first. All of his pals will say what a good guy he was - how he did his job, how he worked on the force for 20+ years. The people, though, will know better. They'll have seen this video. Can you imagine what would have happened had it been dark, 3:00a, and no witnesses? All the cop had to say was "the property owner would like you to leave. if you don't leave, you'll be arrested for trespass". He didn't have to get hostile with the guy. If anything was obstructed it was the rights of the citizens going about their business. Yes, they were there to buy guns before somebody turned in a priceless antique to the melting pot for $25 or $50. So? What's wrong with that? Michigan doesn't have any laws prohibiting private party firearm sales - nor does it require that the transaction take place in any particular location.

All in all, a sad commentary on the authority the cop thinks he has. "Respect my authority." Yeah, right.

What a laughable man and a poor excuse for an LEO.

I think his name is Sgt. Stalin. Or maybe it was just Sgt. Ahole. Either way, he should be fired.

That cop is a authority hungry power tripping racist B-tard. I hate it when they have to get all high and mighty. All he had to do was ask ASK them to leave the property and maybe check out the one guy that bought a gun. Sounds like he doesn't know the law properly or is ignoring it.

and you wonder why Michigan outsiders think detroit is compared to a third world country, just look at the police department. They remind me of the Libian rebels firing off there guns in the air.
