GM to launch Chevrolet Spark EV in U.S. in 2013

GM will be launching an all-electric version of the Spark in the United States in 2013. It will be based on the Beat EV concept unveiled in India. That car features a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery powering a 45kW electric motor and a range of 80 miles or so. Credit: GM
