Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to rock.
Today, the folks at Electronic Arts and Double Fine Productions announced that Xbox Live and PlayStation Network subscribers will be able to "rock out" with a fully playable demo of its upcoming action/adventure game Brutal Legend. Players will be able to control rock roadie Eddie Riggs (voiced by Jack Black) as he accidentally gets knocked out and transports to another world filled with danger, hot babes, and, of course, rock and roll.

However, there's a catch. The demo is available exclusively (for the time being) to those who pre-ordered the game at Gamestop. Those who ordered it online should have the code in their email inbox now, and those who pre-ordered in store need only get a card that has a code on it for you to enter. If somehow you missed out on pre-ordering before, not to worry. You should be able to head down to your nearest store and grab a code.
The demo will be available for mass consumption sometime over the next few weeks. But why wait when you can rock out with the work of Tim Schafer and company? Just a thought...
