PlayStation Move announcement trailer, details, and game slideshow

Revealed last year, Sony's motion controller has finally been Christened at the Game Developers Conference: The PlayStation Move.

Sony Has announced that the PlayStation Move motion controller will launch world-wide in late 2010.
Offering a wide-range of motion controls and intuitive movement detection, Sony is doing its very best to compete with Nintendo's Wii.

The PlayStation Move platform works with it's motion controller, a sub-controller (think Wii nunchuck), and the PlayStation Eye camera, to provide what reports state is a surprisingly accurate gameplay system. Both fast and subtle motion is detected, and players can input direct actions via the action buttons and analog trigger, while receiving feedback via vibration and the sphere's color-changing ability.

36 third party developers (yes 36 developers) are supporting the PlayStation move platform, and it is expected that at over 20 games will be released that either support or are dedicated to the PlayStation Move functionality.
