Sega and Platinum Games released a new trailer for Bayonetta last week. Bayonetta, already making quite the impact in the gaming community for it's fantastic combat, looks to have an impressive story to boot. If the last few seconds don't send a tinge of excitement down your spine, you're dead inside. 

The premise behind Bayonetta was interesting enough when it was simple, considering action games are notorious for their shoddy stories. A witch who kills angels; sound simple enough. But with introduction of witch-clans and a rival witch, internal corruption within said clans, a memorable cast of characters, excellent voice acting, and fantastic combat, Bayonetta is taking action gaming to the next level. Baldur looks to be uber-bad-ass. And Cereza's role... wow. While we can hope Platinum Games doesn't disappoint, it seems less and less likely with every new trailer. Bayonetta will set the bar, as Devil May Cry did. And it will rock.
