Capcom announces classic titles for PSN

Capcom has revealed their full list of upcoming PSN digitial downloads for the PSP and PS3.  The list is full of Playstation One classics and a mix of popular PSP titles for the UMD Legacy. 

These titles will be available at different dates during the summer to usher in the release of the PSP Go.  These are all hand-picked titles that have made an impact on the video game industry in one way or another.  With names like Street Fighter and Resident Evil making the cut, this will be a classic gamer's dream.

July 2nd will see the release of Capcom Classics Collection Remixed.  This collection includes some of the best classic titles that have been made by capcom throughout the years.  The games and features are robust:

1942, Final Fight, Ghosts 'n Goblins, and Commando. The games can be played in either one- or two-player mode. Capcom Classics Collection also includes bonus material, such as remixed soundtracks, game tips, and original artwork.

PSP owners will be able to access this game on the PSN via the "UMD Legacy" option.

 

The summer will see the release of a slew of other titles:

Mega Man Powered Up (UMD Legacy)
Dino Crisis (PlayStation Legacy)
Power Stone Collection (UMD Legacy)
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (UMD Legacy)
Resident Evil 2 (PlayStation Legacy)
Darkstalkers (UMD Legacy)
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (UMD Legacy)
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PlayStation Legacy)
Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded (UMD Legacy)

Prices have not been set as of now, but with titles like Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid selling for $10, that would be the ball-park average for these titles.  UMD Classics normally sell for around $15 - $20.
