Demon’s Souls is one of the best exclusive games on the Playstation 3. While it wasn’t in the top ten NPD software chart for October, it did managed to sell solidly despite having very little advertisement and being a niche title.
According to a trusted insider on NeoGAF, the game has sold over 100,000 copies. Since the tenth best-selling of October is FIFA Soccer 10 (Xbox 360) at 156,000 copies sold, this put Demon’s Souls somewhere between 100,000 and 156,000 copies sold as of the end of October in the United States.
Demon’s Souls was released on October 7th.
Update: According to Gamasutra, Demon’s Souls barely missed the top ten NPD software list with a little over 150,000 copies sold.

Great game! Just started my 2nd cycle and still excited about playing it. Going for the Pure world extremes. Challenging game, but well worth the time investment. Haven't even looked at Uncharted 2 yet, I will eventually, and might not get MW2. Must have on the PS3 for RPG fans.
