This year’s NBA Celebrity All-Star Game was sponsored by Final Fantasy XIII. During the televised event, Square Enix revealed the first English commercial for the game. You can view the video below:
Oddly enough, only the Xbox 360 version was mentioned in the footage. Furthermore, the end of the TV spot highlighted the Special Edition Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 Bundle.
Final Fantasy XIII will launch on March 9th for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Sony's handing FFXIII over to MS on a silver platter.

haha , MS is going at it hard, kniwing there not getting any more..
its 50 mill again, for 1 exclusive game....not the series.
good bye xbox, in 7 days time, there IS ONLY PLAYSTATION, and yes, i do know something, no one else does, exept sony obv.
Sony is so much utter failure this gen. Why are they letting all this happen. What happened to the giants that were PS1 and PS3 age Sony?
* PS1 and PS2 age I meant.

This isnt the first time a multi-platform game has had a commercial specifying only one console. Sony & MS have done so this generation MS more so than Sony. People seem to forget MS and SE made this deal 2 years ago when the PS3 seemed like a failing console and MS was on top in NA between the two. This commercial is more than likely part of that deal (this is a business afterall) to make people aware of the games existance on the XB360 if they weren't already. Believe it or not a lot of people don't know this is a multi-platform release. Also around the time of this deal most multi-platform titles sold better on the XB360 rather than PS3 so it's only natural for SE to try to put an emphasis on platform that was seen as most profitable. However 2 years later the PS3 has picked back up and selling tremendously well and have a number of multi-platforms that have sold more on their platform. It seems SE calculated wrongly. The game will do fine on both but the PS3 version will outsell.
This isn't news. MS AND Sony have done this for years.
This article sucks
hahah fanboy fuks we get ff on the 360 how does that make you feel dumbass cows
WOW lost another execlusive screw it im saleing my ps3 and getting a 360 sony sucks this gen
It's just because Microsoft has money, thats all, i doubt a company would want to push their worst, crippled version of the game....then again it is square enix.....
But, this game seemed to be the sucky one, as when the deal for 360 came up, everything went down from there, cut content, lower quality and even loss of something like Japanese voices, all cause of 360. This is one game that shows the difference between both consoles, and how PS3 is so much better for games. I cant wait for FF13 versus, always looked like the better game when announced anyway, most likely not linear and more innovative with the new and great sounding battle system. :)
there is no way im buying this on my 360. I got it reserved on ps3
alex c: Actually it looks like Final Fantasy 14 will also be launched for the 360.

lmao @ all the 360 fanboys on this sight. You see 360 fanboys, the PS3 already destroyed the 360 a long time ago. Your all are just in denial because you cant admit that 360 keeps getting humilated by PS3 in terms of games, graphics, online etc.
Besides PS3 is getting FF13 Versus, something you 360 fanboys cant play lol
ps3 games are slow and boring and i want no parts of it. have? fun with ur 5gb mandatory installs + blu-ray SUCKS. multiplatform games look crappy on ps3 all thanks to blu-ray, 360 but seriously halo3 alone pwns ps3s entire library. screw ps3 and their $60 one player games. xbox 360 FTW (ps3 dead last 4 life)
