EA Sports MMA for the PS3 and Xbox 360 is throwing down the gauntlet with the UFC Undisputed series from THQ. On top of nabbing some of the top fighters in mixed martial arts, they've also released a new trailer that reveals some of the details for the online features in the game that pushes the fighting genre forward.
The nearly four minute video introduces gamers to the EA Sports MMA online mode which includes features like the ability to gain experience and rank up the belt system with a chance for a title shot. The game also has the Fight Card mode where you can get up to ten friends together online to fight two at a time. While two players are fighting, the other eight are spectating the match and can talk trash or make other commentary via the headsets.
Players can also download and watch the latest top fights from the online leaderboard which allows you to pick up the best strategies and moves from the top fighters in the world. You won't be able to just watch videos though. You'll be able to edit and upload your own videos to EASportsMMA.com to share with others. You'll also be able to share you fighters with others in the online community that EA Sports is building at the game's website.
