It's a topic that has been buzzing in everyone's ears for months but now it's finally come to fruition. Not only that, but the update also comes with the availablity of Zune and Last.fm right from your console.

Games are definitely becoming a more casual and fun way for people to communicate with others from all over the world. Headed by the last update that allowed those with Netflix accounts to watch movies via their Xbox, as well as add new movies on-console or via the webiste, these new updates make sure Xbox continues to lead the way for more convenient  online socializing.

maybe there is a god. hopefully this cr*p doesn't even download onto my xbox. MS just keeps giving me more and more reasons to only play my PS3.

I've been under the impression that it's one of those mandatory updates, but luckily you can just ignore it if you don't want to use it. They're not going to force you to use it or anything, that would be insane.

Mack: It might, in the same sense it tells people if you update via the website, mobile, or some other twitter application like DestroyTwitter, TweetDeck, etc. I haven't tested it out yet but I might just have to now!
