Microsoft has finally announced the Kinect bundles and Xbox 360 price slashes. According to CrunchGear, Microsoft has finally announced the reduction of both of the Arcade and Elite consoles to $149 and $249 respectively. When asking a Microsoft representative about the possibility of a lower priced slim model, kind of like an Arcade version, Microsoft answered, “We will offer a $199 Xbox 360 this fall.” During E3, it was announced that the new Xbox 360 Slim version was going to sell for $299 and will include a WiFi and a 250 GB hard drive.
A Kinect bundle is also said to be underway. Kinect will sell as a stand-alone accessory for $149. Purchasers should expect to pay $399 for an Xbox 360 Slim bundle with the 250GB hard drive and Kinect for $399, saving about $50.
One can assume we can look to spend about $299 for the new Xbox 360 Slim version coming in the fall, with Kinect.

That sucks! I can't wait until fall lol
Thats a pretty good price for such good tech, Im just woundering whats the cash difference after selling my 360.
There are some trade-in deals at GameStop. You may want to contact your local GameStop or EB Games for details.
Well the replacement console MS shipped me under the Red Ring warranty, has failed also. They stated that the replacement console shipped to me, "will only be cover to work for only 90 days". Figures the unit plopped out a total failure faster than human childbirth. Guess they figure abortion of your baby after 3 months is okay.
They I'm sure knew that with the "360-s" (New 360 Slim) as they call it on the 1-800-MY-XBOX, being released, that they would be able to (hopefully) expect me to buy a NEW console to replace the crap they sent me (knowing it would FAIL right in time with the release of the new one).
BASTARDS!!!!!!
So now do I screw off, or wait until Christmas when I can get it for cheaper. Or maybe tradein a stack of titles towards a new slim for "nothing" at EBGames.....
The jury is still out, but I'll know inside 90 days!!!
yay, it's $199 now
Got something to say?
