The 2008 Tokyo Game Show is winding down and besides big announcements like Halo 3: Recon, the Tekken franchise going to Xbox 360 and maybe how terrible Dead Rising is on the Wii, most of the news coming out of the event is stuff we already knew about.
But what we did get from TGS this year is a bunch of new videos and trailers giving us more details on upcoming games and showcasing more game play footage and storylines from some of the most anticipated games.
First up, Capcom gave us some great pieces from Resident Evil 5's storyline through a collection of cutscenes. Check it out:
More game play footage from the upcoming Prince of Persia, which still looks awesome. And it appears that not even the video game world is safe from Sia's "Breathe Me."
Microsoft's Ninja Blade looks like a Ninja Gaiden copy, but hey, if the story and game play is good, I'm there when it drops.
In the early 90's I spent quarter upon quarter playing Street Fighter in the arcade back in the early 90's, so Street Fighter 4 is one I'm definitely anticipating.
After the success of the first Patapon, you knew it would get a sequel.
