The European box art for Heavy Rain was released and now we have the official US box art for the upcoming PS3 title. Though it has a large 'Coming Soon' banner across the top of the image, all major retailers updated their listing this week with this box art, so it's likely to be the official box art for Heavy Rain. With emphasis on the origami figure in the middle, the box art is unique and gives off a certain feel of mystery and the murderous setting the game features.
The back of the box gives a vague description of the game and doesn't reveal anything about the game we didn't know already. It does showcase several of the characters you'll play as, but it keeps the overall premise of the game under wraps.
In the slideshow below, you'll find both the front and back of the box along side some screens of this highly anticipated PS3 title.

Don't like it. They should of made the awards smaller, the main title bigger, and just kept the piece of origami without the busy background.

the rain effect just looks sweet
I thought the european box art should have been less busy, this is a mess! They should keep it minimal, and really feature the iconic origami image without all the silly emblems and background noise. Put that stuff on the back of the box.
this is a placeholder for stores like bestbuy... i doubt the final version will have those stupid award emblems.
ok the actual art is just perfect, but the award badges are just cluttering the box!Those bright orange and red colors are just screwing up the dark gray theme and color of the box art that reflects the feeling of the game very well. I like it better than the european boxart cause it gives the person walking around at gamestop looking at the box an idea of whats going on, they see the newspaper headlines in the background then the oragami thing then its like whoah!... whats going on? this looks creepy. The other euro one is just depicting the title with the origami thing pretty straight forward.

I much prefer UK's boxart. It's much more.. I don't know, complete looking.
