Update: Despite Qore stating a February 16 release, Sony has just let it be known the release will be on February 23rd. Why Qore had such a release isn't known, but, thankfully, Sony did announce the correct release date today. As you'll notice in the media gallery, we do have screens that verify the Qore date, along with several other screens.
Original: After a long wait, we finally know the official release date for Heavy Rain in North America and the wait will soon be over. In the latest issue of Qore, Sony revealed that Heavy Rain will be released on February 16th. Heavy Rain is the first offering from Quanitc Dream this generation and it looks like leave quite a mark on the way you think about games. All the ignorant people commenting on the QTE's and lack of gameplay have no concept of this game. You need to educate yourselves and try this game out, or play it's predecessor, Indigo Prophecy, or just grow up. It's actually a very fresh approach to gaming, and I, for one, haven't played anything like it since it's release, which was 5-6 years ago, if my memory serves correctly. As a man who hates the way QTE's are often implicated into videogames, I can say without batting an eye that im excited to play this game.

Hey, dont ruin it for everyone else. People who dont have PS3s wont be able to play it and therefore have to hate it. Unfortunately there really isnt anything to hate, so they have to say clever things like "i cant stop great gameplay play X, square, R2, R1, circle, L2,... what a great gameplay indeed!" to entertain themselves.
What about L1?! YOU FORGOT ABOUT L1! :P
