Want to get your Xbox 360 ready for Final Fantasy XIII? If you do, you could always spend $200 on a Final Fantasy XIII faceplate for it. Handed out during X10 last week, Square Enix introduced the Final Fantasy XIII bundle for the Xbox 360 and a new Final Fantasy XIII themed faceplate. Given to attendees of the X10 event, one appeared on Ebay and it sold for nearly $200.
Item description: This plate is the official Final Fantasy XIII faceplate, produced by Square Enix, and given away to attendees of the Microsoft X10 event in San Francisco. This is the first one on eBay. This is a THREE DAY AUCTION only because I have to go to Seattle and have to sell this to help pay for the trip.
Since they are limited to an extent, you can expect to see many more sell on Ebay in the near future. Of course, you have to wonder if the description made the bidders think it was a limited promotion for the media event and that these faceplates wouldn't be made available to buyers shortly. Who would want this? What kind of true Final Fantasy fan would buy or support the Xbox version of the game? The game has less content, and less resolution due to the Xbox Version; that is a fact. It isn't about what system you like better, or what one is better, the truth is supporting Final Fantasy on the Xbox isn't supporting Final Fantasy at all.
Wow Miles, PS3 fanboy much? Where exactly does it state that the 360 version has less resolution and content? I'd really like to see you back that up.
Anyways, I picked up a faceplate at Best Buy's online store for $9.99 yesterday.

I do not understand why buying it on the 360 would make you not a real fan. What buying it from Sony makes you a true fan? Any real Final Fantasy fan would know that it started on that system oh what was that...oh right NES not Playstation. So if you want to be a REAL Final Fantasy fan then you should only buy Nintendo Final Fantasy games. I mean if you want to be a moron and say you can only be a fan of a multi-platform game on ONE system at the very least pick the system that started the series.
