Square Enix has remained quiet on the subject of Final Fantasy Versus XIII for quite a while. Finally, it looks like Square Enix will be shedding some new light on the mysterious title in the coming weeks, though.
With Final Fantasy XIII scheduled to launch in North America on March 9th, Square Enix doesn’t have much left in terms of revealing any new information on that title, so they’ll be revealing some new information about Final Fantasy Versus XIII throughout February. The biggest question remaining on Final Fantasy XIII is how many discs will the Xbox 360 version end up spanning.
When asked about Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Sony’s Jeff Rubenstein answered a fan’s question with: “I have, and they’re (Square Enix) eager to get some posts on the blog in February.”
Let’s hope we see some new footage, screens, and solid information regarding the title in the upcoming weeks. Thus far, Square Enix has only released one trailer for the title, but it didn't show much in terms of actual substance. If they are going to be making posts in February on the PlayStation blog, hopefully we see some gameplay footage so we can better understand what kind of game it'll be.
Update: Since the article went live, Jeff has clarified his previous statement to let it be known that he misunderstood the question and that Final Fantasy Versus XIII information won't be made available on the PlayStation blog this month. Jeff replied to another reader asking him to be sure he meant Versus XIII with the following statement:
"Ah, Versus? SquEnix ain’t gonna talk about that with FFXIII coming up so soon, I know that much.
When they’re ready to start talking Versus (and I don’t know when that is), I expect you’ll be seeing them here to address you all directly."

you fanboys are killing me, but I'm still just as excited for Versus as you are! the gameplay sounds awesome fun (more like Kingdom Hearts,and less turn-based like XIII) and hopefully the story will be a bit darker than FFXIII. Two great FF games = win for everyone! (not to mention XIV for PC and PS3, and Agito for PSP, and Crystal Chronicles for DS :D)

Final Fantasy Versus XIII won't go multiplatform because the 360 has last - gen graphics and can't handle it. PS3 is the best and Final Fantasy XIII proves that, Versus XIII is too good for the 360 fanboy idiots.
360 has the better GPU which makes up for the weaker CPU & PS3 has the better CPU which makes up for the weak GPU.Format wise PS3 has the better format.Both consoles have big enough hard drive space.PS3 dose have faster memory which makes up for having a less amount of memory & 360 has more memory that makes up for having slower memory.For almost every argument theres a counter but with all things considered over all PS3 dose have the technical advantage like it or not.Back on topic...i think im gonna wait & see if vs 13 is any better then final fantasy 13 because regular final fantasy 13 isn't worth buying as it is.
wow, this is the first time im meeting ps3 and xbox fanboys i mean i knew there were fans but i didnt know they hated on each other. i personally like the ps3 but still think the 360 is a damn good system, i reckon at this point its mostly preference cause to a le-man like me they're pretty much the same. only game titles are different =D

FINALLY, some more information on FFvXIII! x_x I wonder if it'll be on multiple discs for the PS3 version, too? Well, even if it is, I want it. xD Can't wait to find out when it'll be released in the U.S.

there is no diffrence between 360 and ps3 NONE at all there both a flippin box shape and got something called a CONTROLLER they play games and DVDs go online I think that X-Box and ps3 are quite equal so shut up this is about the game!!!!!
