E3 day two and I’ve seen enough games. At least I’ve seen enough game to tell you the three best titles at the show. Which are:
LittleBigPlanet: Developer Media Moleculehas concentrated cute into a package that Nintendo can only envy and out Spored Spore in the compelling user-created content business with a title that gives PlayStation 3 a gane that works both as the most anticpipated reelase of the show and he most family friendly.
Flower : I have never sat in a room filled with harded game journalists and heard them go “oooh, and ahhhh.” Working to break from the norm and explore new frontiers in game emotions, thatgamecompany shows they are the most vibrant artists working in mainsteam games. Period.
Free Realms : Sony Online Entertainment once ruled the online world with Everquest. And while they have spent the past few years under the dark shadow of World of Warcraft, they’ve taken that time to experiment and innovate. Free Realms is the first free-to-play massively multiplayer online game that discards the idea of a heavy narrative in order to offer a world where ninjas fight along side people delivering the mail and caring for cats. Targeted at kids, expect this world to fill with people just looking for a good time.
