World of Warcraft patch 4.1 Rise of the Zandalari went live Apr 20, 2011 bringing new content and challenges to players worldwide. Zul’Gurub and Zul’Aman have been reopened with new challenges for level 85 players. These dungeons are now 5 man and have new epic drops and rare mounts.
- As with the original iterations of Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman, players will have a chance to obtain updated rare mounts. The Swift Zulian Panther and Armored Razzashi Raptor are obtained in Zul'Gurub, while the Amani Battle Bear can be earned by killing the first four bosses of Zul'Aman in a limited amount of time.
- Guild finders and random instance que’s have been addressed with Dungeon Finder: Call to Arms to reduce wait time. The average wait time in que for dungeons have normally been around 30 minutes with the exception of tanks, which are instant que’s.
- Using a great deal of discretion, Vol’jin has dispatched Darkspear delegates to the capital cities of Stormwind and Orgrimmar calling for all able-bodied adventurers to investigate recent threats that have risen in the jungles of Stranglethorn.
- The patch update on Apr 26, 2011, caused many bugs in the game such as players not being able to join battle grounds, dungeons, and log in problems. Blizzard is currently working as fast as possible to fix these issues to ensure players have minimal down time. Exact patch issues and changes can be found on the battle net website.
- The interests of the Zandalari no longer align with your own. Vol'jin needs your help to stop this play for power. Will you rise to the challenge?
- Update your addons, be patient and may all your hits be crits!
