According to Kotaku, Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono and Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada announced Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter today at Comic-Con giving truth to the rumors heard earlier this week.
There was a trailer and playable demo for Street Fighter X Tekken (pronounced "Street Fighter Cross Tekken" and similarly for Tekken X Street Fighter).
As rumored, Street Fighter X Tekken plays like Street Fighter IV. The characters fight on a 2D plane with both Street Fighter and Tekken characters alike (Ryu and Jin Kazama, Chun Li and Nina Williams) performing Street Fighter style super moves.
Tekken X Street Fighter apparently has not be seen but has been rumored to be 3D in the style of Tekken.
Kotaku finally says "Ono said the games won't be out "for a while" and that fighting game fans should enjoy Marvel vs. Capcom 3 while they wait."
We seem to be in a revival of the fighting game genre. Hopefully we'll be having more crossovers in the future! What are you looking forward to? Leave a comment.

They need to shut it down with Street fighter vs King of fighters. The lone wanderer vs the lone wolf. Sagat vs Joe Higashi.
capcom is fine and all but the street fighter engine is so slow paced u literally couldnt get both and still be good with out going insane. as far as fighting games go, tekken is one of the fastest and street fighter is one of the slowest paced. i wish they showed a tekken x SF trailer instead of SF x Tekken.
