Jenna Busch is the host of Moviefone Minute and a writer of all things geek for SCI FI Wire, JoBlo, Huffington Post, AOL, Popeater, Newsarama, UGO, IGN and Geek Week. A Greenlawn, New York transplant living in Los Angeles, Jenna has been on many sides of the entertainment industry. Makeup artist, actor, and finally writing, which allows her to work in her pajamas.
Jenna used to be an musical theater actress and while, on tour, she met her husband Eric. Jenna has no children except for her dog, two cats, bunny and a python. She plans to stick with the furry and scaly type. She admittedly can't take the cold so she moved to Los Angeles. Jenna was a makeup artist for fifteen years. Most recently, she did the makeup for the Nightmare on Elm Street documentary, Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy.' She was on QVC a few times, selling makeup for Ellen Pompeo , Patrick Dempsey's wife. Jenna is a "HUGE" metal fan and a life long geek. She played Dungeons and Dragons as a kid. She owns every video game console. Jenna pre-ordered the Xbox 360 six months early and called them every day to make sure they had it for her. They told her, 'Listen, you're the only woman who's calling. We promise to save one for you.'
You can find Jenna at most conventions. She moderated panels at WonderCon and Comic-Con and you can usually find her on the red carpet (although I have never been invited) for movie premieres. Jenna is a member of the BFCA. She said she doesn't have time to play Facebook games because she is currently beta testing the World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm.
Jenna is a vegetarian, and a hell of a blogger. She doesn't care if you eat, cook or talk about meat in front of her. She doesn't even expect an apology for eating meat in front of her. She doesn't expect you to tell her how many years you were a vegetarian or why it didn't work for you. Jenna doesn't judge your eating habits and is not currently recruiting.
