Vegetarian barbecue burger is simple and tasty

Now that's what I call a great-looking burger

If you love mushrooms, then you need to try Gardenburger's Portabella Veggie Burgers. Not only are they delicious, they're very versatile. The patties themselves are savory and their texture is satisfying - not rubbery or crumbly.

Best of all, it's easy to get creative with a Portabella Veggie Burger. For a tasty barbecue burger, simply cook the patty according to package directions (in a frying pan, 5 minutes per side). During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the top of the patty with your favorite barbecue sauce, and then top with cheese. Cover until the cheese melts. Place the burger onto a bun and top with grilled onions.

If you love cooking outdoors in summertime, Gardenburgers can also be cooked on the grill. Just be sure to give them a spray of Pam on each side. Grill over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side, or until heated through. Top with your favorite condiments.

Enjoy!

Thank you, Mel, for your concern. I contacted GardenBurger and the representative assured me that they do not use any animal-derived enzymes in their products.
