It's that time of year again to gather the family 'round and make sugar cookies. This is truly a special family tradition to start. Adults and children alike will enjoy decorating their own cookies. And, when you use this melt-in-your-mouth recipe, you can't go wrong! You will need:
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
Cream the butter, vanilla, sugar, and egg together. Then, slowly add 2 cups of flour, stirring at first, the working the dough with your hands as you as the last of the flour.
Roll out cookie dough, and use cookie cutters and sprinkles to personalize before baking.
