Van Jensen and Dusty Higgins have taken the Pinocchio story to a darker level in their new graphic novel, Pinocchio The Vampire Slayer. Their story begins where the original ends, Pinocchio is avenging the death of his father who was murdered at the hands of vampires.

The adventure begins with Pinocchio finding his father dead and not believing the cause- vampires that want to take over the world. He is the only one to believe thus the only one to save mankind from vampires. What he quickly finds is that his growing nose works perfectly as a stake for the night crawlers.

So will Pinocchio save the day? How long will he be able to fight off the vampires- but wait he is after all a WOODEN boy.

The graphic novel was released in September and has hit the The young Adult Library Services Associations Top 10 in graphic novels for teens according to the official website.

The graphic novel is available at the Cosmixology Website  as an app or your local comic book store like A+ Collectibles on Southland Drive in Lexington.

But stay tuned, according to the website there is a sequel in the works that is to be coming out soon.
