The Lost Boys was a cult hit in the 1980's with the two Corey's leading the way in the best teen vampire film, in this writer's opinion. But, with the death of Corey Haim, and the not so great Lost Boys 2; The Tribe, there was lots of questions as to whether or not there would be a Lost Boys 3.
But, the official trailer has been released and it looks AWESOME!!. It shows the Frog brothers together battling vampires again. Both Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander has reprized their role but there is one question as to how they will tie The Lost Boys 2 and 3 together. If you watched the alternate endings of the movie both Cory Haim's character, Sam and Alan Frog were vampires. How is Alan going to no longer be a vampire- is it in the story line or will it be brushed over?
In regards to Corey Haim's character, Sam, he of course turned down the role for part 3 but had signed on for part 4 before he passed away this spring.
While watching the trailer notice the reference to Vamp Blood as a drub- all the True Blood fans will take interest in that since that was a concept played out in the 3 seasons of True Blood.
So thanks to You Tube for the trailer and please comment below.
Lexington fans- how many of you can remember seeing The Lost Boys in the 80's? how do you feel about the remakes? Do you feel that based upon this trailer that this may be more true to the original or a disappointment like the 2nd?
I look forward to your feedback. The movie will be straight to DVD and will be released later this year.

I look forward to this, it is a loss that Haim will not be in it
I embarrassed to admit I have never seen Lost Boys (either one). I had a bunch of people recommend vampire movies to me this weekend and it was mentioned frequently - so I'm going to have to watch it very soon. Especially now that a third one is coming out!!

Lost Boys 1 was the epitome of real vampires- not softcore shiny ones:) They represented what vampires were- monsters but you could see a glint of a soul. I cried when David was killed- you have to watch it.
LB2 is more of what vampires are today- indulging in sex and liquor and nothing really more. There could have been a stronger storyline but it's not the worse movie just not up to LB standards
But I have a huge vampire collection. There are comedies like Once Bitte, and Vampire Kiss, Vampires in Brooklyn, etc
There are also the Underworld movies that are more historically based. Dracula 2000 Trilogy is more religiously based.
The Breed and Let the Right One In and 40 Days of Night are old horror like movies.
But Blade kicks everyone's ass.
Watch Buffy, Angel, Kindred, Blood Ties, Moonlight, and Forever Knight for great television shows.
Most of these are listed to the right of my articles with active links. They are really great- no matter how bad they are s
Got something to say?
