It has now been officially announced that Vampire Diaries stars Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder will be appearing at Spike TV's 2009 SCREAM Awards.
The SCREAM Awards include your standard award show categories such as Best Horror Movie, Best Fantasy Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director and Best Sequel, among many others. They do however include some very unique accolades. The Ultimate Scream, Most Memorable Mutilation and Fight-to-the-Death Scene of the Year are just a few examples.
While this year, the stars of Vampire Diaries will only be making an appearance, it's highly likely that next year they will be there as nominees.
The show will tape on October 17 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, but will not air until October 27 at 10 p.m. ET.
The awards show will also include never before seen footage from Star Trek, an exclusive preview from Shutter Island and world premiere footage from The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
This definitely looks like a night not to be missed!
