Twitter users are sending out tweets about this Google logo. They want to start a movement to get Google to change their logo for one day for the people of Iran and their current struggle for democracy and fair elections.
You can see the logo at this website. The site also has a straw poll asking if you want Google to change their logo for one day. The current polling results: a whopping 98% saying "yes" and 2% "no."
At the time of this writing, 73,987 have taken part in the poll. 72,285 have voted "yes" and 1702 "no."
Not only are the people in Iran using Twitter and other social media to communicate, but people around the world are soliciting support via social media to help them. Another way computers and social media are affecting current events in the world.

Until people of Iran continue to mix religion and government together, there will always be room for radicalism and inequality.
If Iran and people of Iran want to be free, they should build a government that has logic, accountability and equality at its core.
Do model after government such as U.S. however realize that even our government is incredibly flawed to favor the rich!

This logo is cute, but it doesn't explain enough the pain we're all in. I think the blood should be somehow related to a dead bird. That's how our friends are being killed.
It means alot to us if you changed the logo for Iran for only a day, it just shows that there are still people out there who care about other people's suffering...I support you Google 110%..PLEASE GO GREEN

Yes! that would be a great idea to give people of Iran some hope to stand against any liars.we would like Google to change its logo just for one day a year to tell people of Iran that there president was foolish liar.
