5. 1975
Despite eleven UCLA fumbles, eight of which were recovered by USC, the Bruins were able to pull out a 25-22 victory against the Trojans. The win over USC clinched a Rose Bowl berth for UCLA, who would go on to beat a previously undefeated Woody Hayes-led Ohio State team. This particular USC-UCLA rivalry game was Trojans' head coach John McKay's final game at the Coliseum.
4. 1992
In the 1992 rivalry game, the Bruins were able to hang on for a thrilling win over the Trojans. UCLA trailed 31-17 going into the fourth quarter but rallied to take a 38-31 lead late in the game. The Trojans' Rob Johnson scored a touchdown with a quarterback sneak in the closing moments of the game but failed to get the 2-point conversion, ensuring the Bruins, 38-37 win.
3. 1998
The 1998 rivalry game marked the eighth consecutive win over the Trojans for UCLA. Bruins' quarterback Cade McNown and tailback Deshaun Foster delivered big performances as UCLA won 34-17, enroute to a Rose Bowl berth. This game also marked the 20th consecutive victory overall for the Bruins, dating back to the 1997 season.
2. 2006
In one of the biggest upset victories in the history of the USC-UCLA rivalry, the unranked Bruins defeated the #2 ranked Trojans, 13-9. The UCLA victory not only crushed USC's hopes of playing for the national championship, it also ended the Trojans' 63-game streak of scoring twenty or more points per game.
1. 1996
The first and only overtime game in the storied rivalry between the two teams, the 1996 USC-UCLA match up was quite the thriller. Trailing by 17 points in the fourth quarter, the Bruins staged a remarkable comeback, tying the game and forcing not one, but two overtimes. While there was no bowl or conference title or Heisman on the line for either of the two teams, the dramatic come-from-behind victory capped off by Skip Hicks' 25-yard touchdown run was one of the finest moments for UCLA in the history of this cross-town rivalry.
