Eugene Edward Aldrin, Jr., commonly known as Buzz, was pilot of Apollo 11's lunar module and second man ever to set foot on the moon 40 years ago on July 20, 1969. For the first time in a public appearance, Aldrin is now joining the ranks of thousands of military and government officials who have suggested or described a major cover-up of UFOs.

Buzz Aldrin's recent statement either slipped out or was intentionally inserted into a C-SPAN call-in program commemorating the 40th anniversary of man reaching the moon. In the interview, he states:
We should go boldly where man has not gone before – fly by the comets, visit asteroids, visit the moon of Mars. There’s a monolith there. A very unusual structure on this little potato shaped object that goes around Mars once in seven hours. When people find out about that, they’re going to say "Who put that there?" Well, the universe put it there. If you choose, God put it there.

To all you debunkers & critics, THIS IS the "SMOKING GUN" of the UFO & Extraterrestrial issue! Add that alone to Dr. Edgar Mitchell's recent disclosure & prepare yourself accordingly, for true disclosure is finally at hand. Other major countries will follow this lead & I hope all debunkers & critics of these truths will now be shown just how close minded & rather ignorant that they all have been! Hey naysayers, how does that humility sandwich taste now?
Many enthusiasts of the ET issue are perfectly relaxed about the idea of ET becoming official fact: however, the notion that everybody would be cool in the face of such revelations concerning ET may be seriously flawed.
Personally, I would prefer that any disclosure came in the form of a gradual trickle of information so that everybody had sufficient opportunity to gauge people's mood and mindset.
And, this seems to be happening. Some governments could, perhaps, be accused of dragging their feet more than others although, since we are not yet a fully fledged global society, I feel that such sluggishness should be sensibly expected.
As long as we make progress of some sort there is no big problem, surely?
Stop sensationalising this ET issue and calm the witch hunt menatality that some people appear to be indulging in.

"monolith" come on people its obvious he is talking of some large natural feature, and people are taking it out of context. If Buzz really meant some ET Monolith , he would not have just mentioned it in passing as if he is just pointing out the value of space exploration.
For the last month, I have been doing a lot of researching on this topic. I am shocked at what I have been able to find out online vs. tv media. It has caused me to think a little more deeper about the world I live in & the many universes and dimensions we seem to know very little about. a lot of us have had experiences of things we cant really explain. Our reality is beginning to fall apart as we know it. Mine has crumbled already. Thanks in part to a Dr. Jonathan Reed. His story, his proof speaks volumes. Found so much about him on youtube & coast to coast. TOM J. you are correct. As far as disclosure, those that experience this is ready for it. Its those that are skeptics, debunkers, and others who just dont know are the ones who need more time. Slow pace of info is the best way to go.

Is this the same monolith as in 2001 A Space Odyssey?
Concerning this "monolith" on Phobos, one point I have not heard made so far is that when Mr Aldrin says "the Universe put there" and "God did it" (slightly inaccurate quotes possible), perhaps he is saying that he thinks mother nature put it there!
The piece of stone(?) in question does look out of place; however, that does not mean it's not a natural occurrence.
And, by the way, strictly speaking the word "monolith" simply means "single stone".

You wonder why some people are here as if they are begging people to stop being interested in ETs & UFOs by saying things like: " come on people, he is obviously talking about something natural" lol
Well if he was talking about something being put there I don't think he would have said the word "who" as in "who put that there".
The context of his message firmly points to an entity. If it were a colossal natural stone I think it would have been ok for Nasa to leave that picture unairbrushed and it would be added to our Space education as interesting identifying spectacle like the giant storm on Jupiter or Saturn's rings. Debunkers look very whacked out these days.
Mr Aldrin did say the words "who put that there". However, it wasn't his question. He was talking about what other people would say.
Watching the whole interview at C-Span puts the remarks in some context (it is very ordinary).
Although I am enthusiastic to see this monolith as something unnatural I am not going to jump to any hasty conclusions.
Everyone is is so concerned about the monolith - If you watch the entire video - (link above)He is questioning our rationale regarding going to a place we have already been eg. - the moon. He states : "We can visit other 'people' with their habitations." People meaning - "aliens". In context there is no way he meant that the monolith is just a natural a rock. When he said god put it there - he does not mean it is a natural formation - NO he means that aliens put it there and that aliens are god. This is the great deception - It will be revealed to the world - and I believe soon - that yes indeed there are beings from another planet and that they are our saviors and creators. Question is: what are those sceptics and debunkers (what's their profit from ridiculing upcoming evidence, proving the existence of e.t. life) waiting for to get convinced?
For years we are facing a dropwise leaking of information on this subject from official sources, but all too many simply do not seem to be willing to connect those dots!
Well, I think that we are being prepared for some outstanding event coming up in a not too far future. No need to hurry with it, I can wait, but this interpretation seems to be not as far fetched as many might believe.

Alien habitations? Try underground. "They" were cast into hell by God. (2 Peter 2:4) There have been UFO sightings since time and memorial of UFOs coming up out of water. Alexander the Great spent his last days in a diving bell looking for a UFO he saw come out of water. "Dead things are formed under water" (Job 26:5) Angels came down to earth and had sex with women and created Nephilim (Genesis 6) a hybrid between man and angel. This is why the earth was flooded. God was trying to save HIS creation - and destroy the defiled creration. Everytime God pronounced judgement of death to ancient tribes they had giants in the land (Nephilim) These nephilim were superhuman. They were the ones who built the pyramids. Did they have flight? The swine/bird/human flu was manufactured - Look up Georgia Guidestones - Can you make an atom bomb? Do you have a massive war machine in you backyard? Are you messing with the weather? Were talking the big leagues here - and please try to stay focused - Greg on July 28th says blithely: "Disclosure will probably not be all its cracked up to be."

Face on mars now this I don't know what to believe screw it all.
He is speaking the truth and I wish more people would do the serious research into UFO sightings to find out more, but sadly a lot of folks are just plain scared to find out.

Why should a scientific debate get turned into a battle of the faith.Here's a question to all you, if god created everything why did he stop at us? That would be a waste of a endless universe in my opinion. There's a whole universe there to be discovered shutting out infomation has devel whorship is the same has saying the world is flat. Its obviously real..... ac clarke was basically saying that contact is based on our development as a race - that is why contact is made when the monoliths are found....because by obvious extension - we are ready to communicate when we are able to the monolith.....
concerning bart sibrel - i think people should look at his tapes properly - and - not - put him down personally for being nuts/eccentric - the evidence is whats important - and he actually have something.....
my grandfather was in charge of subs, on the east coast in the 50s .during the cold war he said we know their out there and where they come from!.
It’s hard not to take the word of reliable witnesses seriously. After all, Buzz Aldrin piloted a vehicle to the surface of the moon and returned with Neil Armstrong safely to the earth. No question, Aldrin, as well as fellow astronauts, are highly skilled, brilliant, technical people. Airline pilots, FAA traffic controllers, heads of state, and military leaders, who have claimed experience with unidentified phenomenon within the earth's atmosphere and in space cannot all be crazy or misinformed. But it still remains difficult to swallow the extra-terrestrial hypotheses regardless. As a proponent of science I admit my skepticism, especially at a time when every cell phone has a camera and HD cameras easily fit into your shirt pocket. With all this video technology at our disposal, where is the irrefutable evidence? I would have thought by now we would have video that would make us believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that UFOs are real. But yet we are left with blurry images and videos that in a great many cases have been faked. The problem with the UFO phenomenon is unless there is an unprecedented statement from government, supported by the highest ranking scientists; ET will remain in the shadows of science along with the Bermuda Triangle and Big Foot. The claim of alien visitation is extraordinary and in science extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. That evidence has yet to be presented.
