Tiger Woods is taking a break from golf and has released an official statement on his website. He speaks about the pain his infidelity has caused his wife and children and continues to say that he needs to focus on being a better husband, father, and person. The statement reads as follows:
“I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try.
I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding. What's most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing.
After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.
Again, I ask for privacy for my family and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period.”

Too little, a LOT too late
To Tiger and his wife Elin. This is so unfortunate. Taking time off to heal will hopefully get the media and the jokers off your back. Tiger what you did was just plain disgusting. There are always consequences for our actions. But the Bible tells of the story of an adultress who was to be stoned. When they tried to convince Jesus that the law says she be stoned he replied..."Him who is without sin cast the first stone." When he turned around the crowd had gone away. I am not condoning what you did, but the only perfect person is Jesus. Humble yourself for once and truly call out to him for help. He will never leave you nor forsake you. All the best to both of you.
I think people should mind their own business. After all he is a human being and everyone makes mistake. How would you like it when the whole world is focusing on you when you trying to make things right. This will be a hard lesson for him to learn but that’s just life. For those who come out and say they were one of the ones that Tiger was with they should be ashamed. Why would they sleep with a married man; only a slut or someone with no conscious would do that.
