Tiger Woods has hired Mark NeJame to represent his interests in the recent car accident that has made headline news worldwide. You may have seen Mark NeJame on shows such as Issues with Jane Velez Mitchell or the Nancy Grace Show as he makes regular television appearances on high profile cases.You may even recall Mark NeJame from when he represented Cindy and George Anthony. According to reports, Mark NeJame advised his client not to speak with the Florida Highway Patrol today regarding the car accident that took place on November 27, 2009. According to Florida law, Tiger Woods is under no obligation to speak with the FHP as the accident is being handled as a traffic violation. He is not facing any criminal action by not speaking with the police. Mark NeJame has not yet issued a public statement regarding his representation of Tiger Woods. It is unclear where Tiger Woods stands on the allegations that he has been involved sexually with Rachel Uchitel. The National Enquirer broke the story last week that Tiger Woods was having an affair with Rachel Uchitel. Though many feel the story is false, there is a large, growing number of Tiger Woods’ fans that feel the story may be true. Rachel Uchitel has denounced the National Enquirer story as false and has sought legal representation from Gloria Allred. When spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol Kim Montes arrived at Tiger Woods Windermere, Florida mansion to speak with the pro-golfer she was met by Mark NeJame instead. Sgt. Montes stated that Mark NeJame supplied the FHP with what is required by Florida law: Tiger Woods’ driver’s license, his registration, and insurance.

Tiger Woods has requested that the media give him and his family privacy during this time.
