President Obama was enjoying a game of golf during his Hawaii vacation when he was interrupted by an emergency situation. An ambulance was called to aid in the treatment of a child whose family was visiting with the Obama’s in Hawaii. It is believed that the child became injured while playing on the beach and her chin required stitches.

As news of the emergency situation spread and as journalists saw sight of an ambulance at the Obama compound, fear and concern spread. The president quickly aborted his golf game and witnesses saw his motorcade travel at high speed as they rushed to the child’s aid.

Though the ambulance was called, reports state that the child was not transported to a hospital via ambulance and the injuries were not that serious. Many were at first concerned that a tragedy had befallen the first family. Though reports stated that the child did not go to the hospital in the ambulance they did say that the family might take the child later to ensure that everything is okay.

The president continual travels with an ambulance as that is presidential protocol. It has not been clarified whether the ambulance on scene today was that of the Presidents entourage or from a hospital nearby. The identity of the parent and injured child has not been publicly released. After a brief delay, President Obama returned to the golf course and finished his game.
