As the Tiger Woods scandal enters its second month, we have come to learn a great deal about the golfer and his wife, Elin Nordegren Woods. It’s almost mind baffling to think that three months ago, Tiger Woods was in complete control of his privacy, and he was good at it!

He manipulated what the media knew, he was able to hide countless affairs (if we believe the reports of the mistresses), and he managed to do so why proving himself to be the greatest golf athlete. Now, he is the hunted, at the mercy of paparazzi and tabloid photographers who seek to find one shot of Tiger with a mistress. It doesn’t have to be Rachel Uchitel either, any mistress will do.

Oh, the price of one photo of Tiger and a mistress. It would be enough to clothe a starving family and put a roof over their head. Maybe Tiger should make a charitable donation and take a photo and bestow it upon someone less fortunate. Surely his kindness would result in the instant financial transformation of someone’s life and family.

Well, the elusive photo of Tiger and the mistress has not yet surfaced, neither has one of Tiger and his wife Elin. While many speculate that the couple will be divorced, no proceedings have begun. It is possible, that throughout the scandal, the two will find some sort of reconciliation. It does seem that Tiger has not been physically abusive towards Elin, and if that is true, that is one thing that will work for him. However, the damage done by the mistresses telling their Tiger tales on television may have salted the wounds that though they may heal, are simply too painful to deal with.

There have been reports that the couple were engaging in deep marriage counseling. There are also reports that alleged mistress #1 has camped out approximately 500 yards from Tiger’ yacht. The yacht, however, has not moved and no one knows where Tiger is.

No one knows where Tiger is, no one has taken a photo of Tiger, and no one can tell if his luxury yacht has moved from its spot or sailed away to the Bahamas.

It would appear that Tiger is still the master of eluding the media and maintaining his privacy.

By the way, when someone is transported to a hospital during an accident it is Florida procedure to list the victim’s status as ‘serious’ condition.
