Not only did Michael Jackson get exonerated from all charges, the accuser who was a kid at the time, later told some news people that none of it was true and that his father had made him say those things about M.J. in order to get some money. Michael suffered a great deal because of greed and his image was tarnished, even now in his death. Peter King's personal attacks on Michael Jackson dishonors his memory and are disrespectful to his children and his family. He should be sued for his defamation of character and his contempt of the court system altogether.

Reiterating what "Appalled" said, MJ was acquitted of all charges and that kid who is now around 30, confessed to lying just so his "dad" could gain monetarily from it. "THAT'S" disgusting and I wish I could see the dad go to jail and experience what molesting is first hand. MJ had his faults, like we all do, but to have the burden of people thinking that of you would have drove anyone to the brink. RIP MJ. Why didn't Peter King complain about the over-coverage of the death of Anna Nicole Smith from drug overdose and called her gold-digger during that period? I do not know what Smith did to warrant the over-coverage of the media. What about Paris Hilton and her stint in jail? Did Peter King publicly complain about the media covering Paris day and night and her every move? NO. Peter complains about the music icon, king of pop, the Black man, etc. and commits slander because Michael was cleared of all charges. Peter must like pretty WHITE women more.

I read your remarks regarding the media coverage on Michael Jackson’s death, as well as your criticisms of his character.
I am only 28 years old, and I have seen this country (and the world) evolve into a media circus, where people are famous for just being famous and it is outrageous. That said, Michal Jackson is NOT one of those people. He worked from the bottom up, and will remain one of the greatest entertainers of all-time, a true icon, a true legend. His music and dancing made people around the world want to learn how to sing and dance, and he has inspired many of the artists we see and hear today.
The bottom line…Michael Jackson is one of the biggest stars the world has ever seen, if not the biggest. And yes, I would let my child or grandchild be in the same room with Michael Jackson. I would have been honored.

I think Peter King is saying what most Americans are thinking. The man had enough money to pay off the families of those kids. Coverage is one thing, but the media has gone overboard and it is excessive.
