Twitter was a flutter with the rumor “Jeff Goldblum Dead” shortly after the announcement was made that Michael Jackson had passed away. The Internet Hoax is actually a resurfacing of an online rumor dating back to 1999. The hoax spread across the Internet like wild fire, sharing a tale of Jeff Goldblum falling to his death while filming a movie in New Zealand. Not only are the rumors false, according to his publicist, Evelyn Karamanos, New Zealand police state that they are unaware of Goldblum filming in New Zealand. Goldblum’s publicist released the following statement:
"Reports that Jeff Goldblum has passed away are completely untrue. He is fine and in Los Angeles."

Didn't this very source yesterday publish that he was dead?
I didn't publish he was dead; I published that it was an Internet hoax.

Charisse
