Hope for Haiti Now telethon aims to raise funds for Haiti earthquake survivors (live video, photos)

A global benefit is underway with the aims of raising money for the survivors of the Haiti earthquake. As has been stated by former presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton the most important donation that citizens can make to aid in the rescue and relief effort is cash.

The Hope for Haiti Now telethon has enabled several ways that you can donate. Those who are watching the program can call 1-877-99-HAITI (1-877-99-2484) or you may donate online at hopeforhaitinow.org There are other organizations that you may contribute through, either through the Hope for Haiti Now website or through the organization’s website.

The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund was recently announced by President Obama and makes it simple and easy to donate to Haiti Relief. As many celebrities have joined forces to host the telethon, others have chosen to donate to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, for example Leonardo DiCaprio recently donated $1 million to the fund.

You can donate through the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund here: Clinton Bush Haiti Fund

You may also text the word “QUAKE” to 20222 to charge a $10 donation to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund (the donation will be added to your cell phone bill).

You can also donate through Unicef’s website located here: Unicef

The American Red Cross has raised over $10 million dollars for Haiti relief efforts. You may donate here: Red Cross
