Rick Sanchez of CNN is tired of Fox News and their lies and he isn’t afraid to call them out on it. The fight is centered on the Tea Party Express and a new claim that Fox News has made stating that other news channels didn’t cover the event. In fact, this morning, Fox News unveiled a full page ad in the Washington Post that claimed ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN missed the story of the Tea Party Express; the protest that took place on September 12, 2009.
Many people can testify that they witnessed their local media networks cover the event, as well as those who know that they saw the coverage aired on all of the networks mentioned. The claim is preposterous and shows that the divide between Fox and other news media outlets is less likely to ever be bridged.
CNN anchor Rick Sanchez didn’t take the false claims quietly. First, it is easy to prove whether or not Fox’s assumption that other media outlets missed the story is accurate; you can look at the video and previous news reports. Other outlets covered the story, so what did Rick Sanchez have to say about the issue? You can hear his response in the video below.
First, Rick Sanchez began by stating the “fools who perpetuate falsehoods…” Rick went on to state," The lie was so bold and upsetting that he wasn’t going to sit there in silence and allow his craft or his news operation be unfairly maligned.”
Rick Sanchez said that he was offended at the insinuation that CNN didn’t cover all the news. He pointed out how CNN reporters have risked their lives to bring coverage of the news. Sanchez then aired numerous videos showing that CNN did, in fact, cover the Tea Party Express, especially as the bus tour made its final stop at the U.S. Capitol on September 12, 2009.
Rick Sanchez concluded by stating that CNN covered the event, but didn't promote the event.

This is so funny.......they DIDN'T cover it or when they did , they manipulated the photos to show what they wanted. None of the networks with the exception of FOX News showed how many peopple really attended and that it what FOX News is calling them out on. They lied and they know it. Did CNN show the crowd booing and telling the CNN reporter to leave???
Look at the Fox ad too they obvously used photo shop to make it look like a billion people were there. ahahaha omg
cnn sucks, they are so biased and full of bullshit
I think it's pretty hilarious that the Fox News Zombies (Zinger, Austin, many others around the country) are willing to believe Fox's accounting, as opposed to EVERY OTHER NETWORK.
I can't believe that the people od SF keep electing a co=lown like Pelosi
She embarasses the country
Are there still drones out there who believe in Pelosi?????
What? Fox News lie? Thats as absurd as saying the Iranian government is developing a nuclear bomb.
First, and very importantly, the photo above is not doctored. It was not taken by Fox that I am aware of, but someone who in the crowd. I may be wrong, but I don't think so. Also, this is a small part of the crowd. I know because I was a volunteer at the stage area of this event and didn't have a chance to march. I arrived early and was given the duty to check and let through speakers and press from the masses of people. The Capitol areas was filled before the march ever started. The Park Police had to open the two wings on each side of the front lawn areas. This area holds over 200,000 people alone. I was amazed to look up and see the actual marchers coming. They were forced to start 1 1/2 hours early because there were too many people trying to get to Freedom Park. People were bqacked up 3 blocks deep from the park. The park police told us there were nearly 1.5 million people there. All marchers could not get onto the mall. They had to stand in the streets. CNN lied.
The other tv stations did have coverage, but they did marginalize it as an ordinary event. One channel had reported that only 50-70k people were there; that was not the truth. I think all sides are over playing their hands on this one.
That ad is not photshopped, there really was 3 billion people there. Ask the police of DC. They estimate that there were more people there than at the inauguration of B Hussein Obama.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Like a crying baby! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! the MSM is no longer relevant. Look at the ratings... Fox news holds the top 6 spots of every nightly news stations. from the last Fox news program to the first "unbiased" one is like 50% less viewers.
i think the funniest part of this story is that Fox News stole CNN's picture for their ad against CNN. hahahaha! i noticed the Fox News ad has been removed from the Fox News website. stupid idiots.
First I want to say that picture is a FAKE!!!! I was there and there were maybe 50-60, 000 max! Pretty dismal but it was organized by Dick Army of Freedomworks.org only no leader appeared to organize anything. A lot of ppl came but most didn't know who was supposed to be speaking, there was a lot of confusion.
This is just my opinion but Fox News (the exceptions being Sheppard Smith and Geraldo) has an agenda of promoting the Republican Party by any means necessary. I personally have not watched the Fox New Network in over two years and when I enter an establishment that shows Fox News I politely ask the management to change the channel. How can any American who loves ALL that America has to positively offer support a network that promotes Birthers, individuals who call the President "The anit-Christ", extreme groups that depict the President as a Nazi, a Muslim etc. etc. ? It appears that they are more willing to take in the "crazies" and support their agenda then report news in a "fair and balanced" mannner. Any network that honestly believes that Democrats have created "death panels" to kill other Americans should have the plug pulled on their shows. The ratings that they enjoy come from the 20% or so that hate the President, Democrats and the Government.
Charisse Van Horn, you are misguided.
