Flights delayed and cancelled due to snow storm; blizzard warnings in effect
Those traveling this week may have found their plans significantly changed as the nation faces round two of weather that has left much of the mid-Atlantic and East Coast seeing white. Maryland has banned travel and flights are grounded or delayed in many major airports.

Those needing information regarding flights can view the Air Traffic Control System Command Center and search by airport or region for the latest news. The information is generalized, however, and it is always best to check with local airlines for flight specific information. You may view the Air Traffic Control System Command Center here: Fly FAA through the site you can find a list of links to major airports nationwide.
Since the snow storm is widespread, citizens may find the most current information is provided by their local weather stations, or through a weather radio. You may find a list of current weather and storm warnings through the NOAA’s National Weather Service here: National Weather You may click on a state and read the weather warnings and watches for each state’s counties, as well as determine your local weather forecast.
