President Barack Obama and his family have been vacationing in Hawaii for the holidays without incident, however, on Monday, an ambulance was called to the house rented by the Obamas.
Fox News reports that the president promptly ended a round of golf and headed to the home for a “personal matter.” Subsequently, an ambulance was seen pulling up to the vacation home.
An administration official later announced that the “first family is fine, but the child of an Obama family friend was injured,” according to Fox.
The report also indicates there was no threat to the president’s safety and the incident was not a matter of national security.
