The first round of presenters for the 2009 BET Awards were unveiled Thursday. Leading the pack are Solange Knowles, Queen Latifah, and The View's Sherri Shepherd !
According to BET, the aforementioned trio will be joined by Idris Elba (Obsessed), Taraji Henson (Curious Case of Benjamin Button), and Paula Patton, who have also snagged presenting duties.
Set for June 28, the 2009 BET Awards ceremony is expected to be one of this year's biggest award shows with a performing roster that includes much of 2008 and 2009s most successful artists. In somewhat of an ironic reunion, Beyonce will take the stage opposite her husband Jay-Z.
Jay-Z's performance comes fresh off his official 'D.O.A - Death of Autotune' track unveiled at New York's Summer Jam.
Jamie Foxx will host the anticipated three hour show which, for the first time, airs on a Sunday. Past hosts have included MoNique, Damon Wayans, Will & Jada Smith and DL Hughley.
