Lisa Wu Hartwell is leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta.

It seems that more of the familiar faces of Bravo’s hit reality show, Real Housewives of Atlanta, are starting to drop like flies with news of the latest cast mate to get the ax.

According to BV, Lisa Wu Hartwell and the Bravo network have parted ways amicably. The separation is said to be due to creative differences experienced between Lisa and the show’s creators.

In search of more drama, the network wanted to add some scripted elements to Lisa’s life in an effort to pump up the drama and probably draw in more viewers. Not content with faking the funk, Lisa reportedly decided to bow out of the show since her real life was just not enough for them.

"They basically wanted to script elements of Lisa's life and make her amp up the drama. She wasn't with that at all. Lisa felt like if her real life alone wasn't enough for the network, then maybe it was time for her to go.” {Source}

Though Lisa will appear in only 3 episodes of the new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, she will not appear in any of the promotions of the new season including the opening scene where the cast members are photoed holding the signature peach representing their home state of Georgia.

The new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta will already have a couple of new faces with the addition of an attorney who goes by the name of Phaedra Parks and model Cynthia Bailey.

How real is the Real Housewives of Atlanta if they want to add pseudo-drama to a cast mate’s life?

The new season of RHOA is scheduled to premiere in October 2010.
