According to allhiphop.com, the Detroit News says "the state of New York filed a lien against DMX and his wife Tashera on January 2, and another for $8,343 from March 2006."
Taxes from income earned in Arizona in 2002, 2003, and 2005 totals $663,553.
Dark Man X and the Mrs. owe the New York State Tax Commission $44,357 and $370,460 and liens were filed against the couple in 2005 and 2006.
It isn't like X hasn't been in trouble before: he has been caught possessing cocaine and marijuana, created false identities including that of a federal agent, been cruel to his dogs, and driven reckless - all on numerous occasions. Slow learner, much?
Not a lot of MCs have been paying the Man his due. Snoop Dogg, JD, Xzibit, Method Man, and the legendary MC Hammer have also been sued by the U.S. Department of Treasury's tax guys.
